Post Free Comic Book Day

Wow. What a day! Absolutely jam packed.. with challenges.. comics.. searching for Iceman.. comics.. sketching.. and comics!

So, it was a lot of fun and now one week later. It’s a quieter affair.

I stopped by my regular store Classic Comics to pick up my standing order and chat to Looch.

Then mosey on down to All Star to pick up my prints I had available for sale at Artist Alley. No sales but hey, being my first Artist Alley, being involved was awesome enough.

Also picked up a copy of Blacksad: A Silent Hell and a treasury edition of TMNT 50 which looks freakin great…

Now.. as I down some dumplings and a beer. I contemplate the rest of my afternoon. Reading is on the cards!

So hey it’s been a while.. but FREE COMIC DAY is here!!

Hey all,

this weekend brings about the celebration of comic books! Free ones to boot!!

This year I will be part of the talented bunch at All Star Comics in Lonsdale St Melbourne. There will be creators all day offering free sketches other things that you can purchase!

I will be there offering sketches from 4pm on the day so be sure to stop by and say hi!!

have you gotten over to Lee  Zachariah‘s page yet? Well go on!!

Otherwise all you are gonna get is just three posters with no context and that is just well, really nice to come and check em out.. but.. without Lee putting forward the project, they would never have existed, well maybe they would have but it would have been by a different artist and.. great scott!! A paradox!!

But seriously, if you like the pics, see the story behind them…

With 25 hours and counting… my reliance on public transport will soon come to an end! Can’t come soon enough and I look forward to my extra time doing what I need to do… Draw! Sure I could try in the bus but there will rarely be a straight line!

New week.. kidney stone free?

So a hell of a way to start 34… writhing in pain in the reception of my work, waiting on an ambulance. Sorry to any clients I may have scared off!

So after a reservoir of water here’s hoping for no more of that pain!

So to get things back on track here is some exciting news.

New art… new filming… new projects and I also scored new toys! Series 1 of the Arkham City line and a bobble head Boba Fett!

Things are on the up people! :)

Spidey and Avengers – New trailers

You know what? I am really pumped for this new take on ol’ web head! This trailer gives us a lot more web slinging and of course the Lizard.

The other big trailer of course being the Avengers, where rumour has it a certain web slinger will make a cameo.

This trailer gives us our first look at the Hulk and a few team shots just enough to get is ready for the May release.

Although, Tony Stark could almost win the battle with his wise cracks and one liners.

Chronicle chronicled

So in one of those, let’s go see a movie moments we saw Chronicle. For a movie that is from the view of camcorders it was actually well done and really enjoyable.

Actors portrayed the characters well and it had that real element of what would happen with powers in the real world. Good and bad.

Heads up on the flying… clever scene and more realism.
